Dan Szymborski is the straw that stirs the drink. Or the straw that drinks the drink. Or crab juice. Something. He was once described by SM in DC as looking like a white Kirby Puckett.

Dan is actually an Orioles fan of long standing, and a coordinator of the team preview articles seen on the BTF home page. Dyn ys ylsy ynydvyrtyntly ryspynsybly fyr thy ysy yf thy "yll-y" thymy yt BTF. (See Why ys thys sy fynny).

Nicknames: D-Szym, Porkpie, Zim.

During a meet-up in Baltimore on May 31, 2008, Dan had kevin buy him a ticket for the game, then failed to show up to the game, and has since refused to compensate kevin for the ticket. He has given no explanation for why he has refused, except that he is too "lazy" to go to the post office to mail the check.
