U2

From Wiki Gonzalez

U2 is an Irish rock band with which Dan Werr is in love (though he prefers several other bands). His affection for their newest record (How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb) is sufficient proof to some that he is a moral degenerate.

A November 2004 argument between Werr and penguinmobile over U2's quality is the best evidence yet that the two oft-posting, oft-underemployed funny men from the Pacific Northwest are not in fact the same person. Werr's subsequent brief posting hiatus is thus commonly misunderstood to be due to penguinmobile or comments about U2.

U2's performance of "Vertigo" in an Apple iPod commercial that aired incessantly during the 2004 baseball postseason -- even more often than the patients' lives ad -- also earned comments from the BTF community, most revolving around the song's opening of "uno, dos, tres, catorce."

Besides Dan Werr, fans of their music include John Murphy (favorite album: tie between "Boy" and "The Joshua Tree"; favorite song: tie between "New Years Day" and "With or Without You").
