The Amazing Race is a reality show on CBS (http://us.imdb.com/find?q=The%20Amazing%20Race;s=tt). Some consider it the greatest current show of any type, though the current (sixth) season isn't as good as previous ones.

Except for Flo (http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0080216/) and Jonathan.

One wonders whether the current family edition of the show will kill it; despite its quality, The Race has not enjoyed good ratings. A family edition seems a desperate ploy to gain viewers, something that has undoubtedly not happened with the current edition's lingering too long at US roadside tourists traps (the world's biggest office chair?). A similar ploy to increase ratings killed the previously very good The Mole, which ABC gave up on when celebrity editions failed to create a buzz.
