Steve Treder
From Wiki Gonzalez
Steve Treder is a mack daddy of BTF. He is one of the most prolific posters in quantity and quality to baseball-related threads, and also writes many articles for The Hardball Times.
He lives in Santa Clara, CA, and is a huge, if long-suffering, Giants fan. More than once he has claimed to be conflicted over how to evaluate GM Brian Sabean's team-building abilities.
On BTF, he is on one side of a long-contentious closers debate. He is in favor of teams returning to the late-70s Gossage-style model of a multi-inning relief ace, versus the modern Eckersley-style model of a 1-inning game-saving specialist.
To this day Steve Treder dreams of becoming Cap Peterson (http://www.baseball-reference.com/p/peterca01.shtml), or if that fails . . . at least finding a way to stop the Len Gabrielson (http://www.vintagecardtraders.org/virtual/64topps/64topps-198.jpg) nightmares.
