Not only does Steve Garvey have more notches on his bed than Jack Vincennes, he has more illegitimate children than JV has notches.

Also, a long ago primer-thread asked primates who their least favorite players were. From that list, people realized that least favorite players fell into three categories: 1) players that sabermetrics feel are overrated by conventional statistics, 2) players who were part of some off-field scandal, 3) players who did something terrible to a person's favorite team. It was asked if any player fell into all 3 categories, and the only answer that was given was that Steve Garvey fits all 3 categories for Cub fans. Therefore Cub fans are obligated to hate Garvey more than any other fan hates any other player. It's the law.

Steve Garvey is also, of course, the anti-Christ.

A saying: The three worst things a person can be are: 1) a Nazi war criminal, 2) a child molester, and 3) Steve Garvey.

This man is, as far as anyone knows, the only person who fits into all 3 categories.

Steve Garvey deserves the contempt of all decent human beings and Mets fans.
