Stephen Malkmus

Stephen Malkmus was the original force behind the indie-rockin' indie rock music band Pavement, and now works solo, occasionaly using The Jicks as a backing band.

His connection to baseball is unknown.

Till now...well, actually Malkmus has been a fixture in Roto-Fantasy Baseball Leagues (http://www.oddjack.com/2005/stephen-malkmus-emo-fantasy-sports-freak-06-03.php) for years.

Malkmus is also involved with the nifty Major League Baseball 2K6's soundtrack (http://music.ign.com/articles/697/697936p1.html).

Pavement/Malkmus also penned the song "Major Leagues"
