Steinling

Steinling is code for the unholy union of John Sterling and Charley Steiner, the WCBS radio broadcast team for the Yankees in the early 2000s. Repoz contributed this term to the BTF lexicon.

Sterling can't stand competence, and apparently had Steiner shipped via UPS to the Dodgers for the 2005 season. Steiner's spot in the booth has been taken by Suzyn Waldman, of whom Yankee fans undoubtedly have many stories.

This will, of course, be known as Waldling in 2005.
