SportsCenter

From Wiki Gonzalez

SportsCenter is ESPN's daily sports news show, offering highlights, previews, and interviews relating to the day's action.

In recent years, Primer opinion of the show has fallen dramatically. A very good BTF discussion about the decline and fall of ESPN's franchise program can be found in the This is SportsCenter? thread of April 2004.

Jeff K. shared his SportsCenter "moments" in the Sporting News Today: First Issue thread of July 23, 2008:

I joined Primer IRC last night at 10:05 PM, after coming home and flipping on Sportscenter. Those that were there heard the saga of Sportscenter last night. According to Wonder Boy #2, they opened with the Mets game. But from 10:05 until 10:47, there was zero baseball coverage. And that at 10:47 was a live Baseball Tonight lookin of a game. During that time, I got 15 minutes of Brett Favre coverage (5-7 minutes starting at 10:05, 7-8 more at 10:25), and 5 minutes on whether Buda, Texas was "Titletown, USA". ####### pathetic.
