Sand Discussion

In a Primer Lounge sometime in July of 2006, Paul D mentioned that he was taking his father to a links golf course. Subsequently, scotto asked what constituted a "links" golf course. Chris Dial responded simply, "Sand."

Later that day, Vince Galloro asked "What's today's lounge about?" And Chief replied "Sand." And "Sand" was born.

Some posters felt this response was insufficient. Since then, answering questions "Sand" has become a BBTF running joke.

Most attempts by Primates to determine the origin of this joke elicit no response but "Sand."
