SMK is a Milwaukee-based Mariner (and Edgar Martinez (http://www.baseball-reference.com/m/martied01.shtml)) fan. She is a graduate of Whitman College (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whitman_College), and in August 2005 headed to law school at Marquette University.

SMK is one of the site's few regular female posters, though she has only recently started posting consistently, after essentially lurking for several years. As a believer that gender shouldn't be an issue in love of sports, she probably resents that there's an entire paragraph in her entry about her being female. Unfortunately, the site's demographics make that fact notable.

She also co-wrote the 2005 Seattle Mariners Preview (http://www.baseballthinkfactory.org/files/main/article/seatthe_mariners_preview05/) with Dan Werr. She can usually be found in the Lounge, IRC, or Mariner Game Chatters.

SMK is a known ABBA fan.

Despite rumors, there is no evidence that she is Rowing Girl.
