runningbyrd is a man of many homes and many women. He has lived in Vermont, Minnesota, Georgia, Illinois, Texas, and (currently) Washington. He has been involved with Girls A and C, with Pecan Pie Girl, and with the penis checker. However, his heart belongs to another.
runningbyrd is an Atlanta Braves fan. He hates the New York Yankees with a demented fury, leading him to wish death upon Jason Giambi when Giambi was ill with an intestinal parasite and pituitary tumor. He then proceed to defend that assertion, making people believe that his statement wasn't some over-the-top crack, but something he actually meant.
runningbyrd works with herpes, or rather, he has herpes.
runningbyrd used to have a job that involved painting his face and wearing a simulated bowl of chili on his head. Some feel that this was not actually a "job," however, and that he should have done it for free.
There are many reasons for runningbyrd's anger, not the least of which is the memory of the 1997 Florida Marlins

As of 3/10/2005, runningbyrd has changed his name to "gone" and left BTF. It is not known if he will ever return. But he did tell nearly everyone at BTF to fuck off on the way out the door.
runningbyrd should just come back. He is missed by many--but not all--on Primer.
Some possible reasons given for his departure: 1) I think he said something mean about kevin (or backlasher). 2) I though byrd hit the bricks because everybody dogged him for his virulent hatred of cops. 3) I thought everyone was dogging him for his ultra-militant approach to high school marching band discipline. 4) His departure had something to do with which primate was the most likely candidate to be a woman beater (see Kevin). Aside from all of these reasons, he also once argued (and consistently defended his position) that Jason Giambi deserved to die because he signed with the Yankees.
Runningbyrd is now back and uses occasionally changing byrd-related names. He shows up a lot in the Primer Lounge and hasn't done anything overly inflammatory lately.
