Rick is a charter member of the Hall of Merit (http://digamma.net/btfwiki/index.php/Hall_of_Merit) project.

Rick is the Best Friend of Charley Jones, and thinks that with the proper credit for his blacklisted years, Jones would make a solid addition to the HOM. He is also a big fan of Pete Browning, Ed Williamson, Vic Willis, Cupid Childs and Dobie Moore

Rick is a programmer who recently relocated to the Tampa, FL area. He used to work for Citigroup in New York, but was let go when his office was closed in January 2005 (what a bunch of losers). After being unemployed for a few months, Rick began his new job on June 6, 2005. It is challenging and Rick likes it better than his previous job.

Rick is a Yankees fan, who hopes the Yanks kick the Red Sox butt this year and go on to win the World Series, but is worried that they are getting too old to compete much longer.

Rick is married and has a daughter who just turned 4 and who means the world to him.
