Raccoons

Okay, but when you start in on them, I have a racoon story to toss in. Perhaps not as exotic, but still memorable, at least to me. i had an intresting run in with a racoon a few weeks ago, i work at a summer camp and one night a friend and i decided to go camp in the middle of the woods, the place we were at was where they taught wilderness survival, there were random objects there i dont remember why though, a racoon decided it wanted to eat the food we had, he made a few mistakes, the first being sneezing as he was comming up, the second was that we were armed, my friend grabbed a ski pole(random object) and gave it a 10 min. beating, in which we paralized it, we then took a canoe paddle(random object) and hit it across the neck to kill it, it stopped moving so we thought it was dead, about an hour later we checked to see if it was still alive. the racoon had used its front claws on a down tree to pull its self slowly up hill away from us, well we saw this and tried to kill it again with the paddle(death blow #2) we figured it was dead and went to bed. the next morning it was still alive this time we gave it several hits across the neck trying to kill it(death blows #3,4,5) it was knocked out cold so we thought it was dead, that evening we went back to retreive our stuff which we didnt feel like taking back in the morning, the damn thing was still alive, so with death blow #6 we finally killed it(we checked)....moral of the story is, raccons are tough little fuckers, but dont give up they wont last forever
