Pops Freshenmeyer was formerly known as "Fish Teaser" on Old Primer. He is the brother of Meatwad and DTM, and a law student at Indiana University.

"Pops Freshenmeyer" was a name used in a brief joke on The Simpsons. When C. Montgomery Burns was confused while sniffing ether alcohol, he believed that a marketing character made from dough named "Poppin Fresh" took his money. When they narrowed down the possible suspects on a computer, an old man named "Pops Freshenmeyer" came to the screen as the only other suspect besides Homer Simpson, who took the money Burns gave him while intoxicated on ether.
