Phil Coorey

From Wiki Gonzalez

Phil Coorey is a purveyor of spirituous fluids in Toowoomba, Australia. His baseball affiliation is to the unfortunately victorious Boston Red Sox, while he supports woeful West Ham United (currently (!) of the English Premier League) in football/soccer.

Phil is a supporter of indie rock music and indie bands, many of whom are entirely unfamiliar to Primates. He erroneously believes that 1989 was an important year in music history because of the Stone Roses' self-titled debut album. (Of course, 1989's importance stems from De La Soul's debut, Three Feet High and Rising, or, alternatively, Mike Patton's Faith No More debut, The Real Thing).

Phil looks like John Belushi and has a brother who looks like Jamie Farr. Phil's wife, Lu, is both a looker and more than accepting of his perverse (for Australia) baseball obsession. It is unclear how this drunken Middle Eastern Paul Hogan wannabe got so lucky. Detectives believe alcohol was involved.

Pictures from his Early Summer 2005 trip to the US can be seen here
