Pants are pieces of clothing known for covering legs.

Pants are part of baseball uniforms (exception being the pantsless 1976 White Sox, as seen in this Hall of Fame picture (http://web.archive.org/web/20070407015408/http://baseballhalloffame.org/exhibits/online_exhibits/dressed_to_the_nines/timeline_1976.htm)), non-baseball uniforms, and most people's casual and non-casual wardrobes.

In British English, "pants" is used to mean teh suck.
