Monty Python's Flying Circus

From Wiki Gonzalez

Monty Python's Flying Circus was a popular British comedy show of the early 1970s, much beloved for its surreal and RDF comedy sketches and cartoons.

The BBC exported the show and its peculiar British humor all over the world to great acclaim. The Python cast (Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin) later profited from their Python experience, making a series of Monty Python movies ("Monty Python on the Holy Grail" is the most famous) and even a Tony Award-winning Broadway musical ("Spamalot").

Python competes with Doctor Who for the title of best ever British television show, and it influenced most later comedy shows, including Saturday Night Live.

Caution: too much quoting of MP skits on the Internet can put you in the same boat as Star Wars fans or Trekkies. Be judicious in your references....

... and now for something completely different.
