Mets fans on BTF are well-educated, well-informed fans of the New York Mets who seemingly can't stop thread hijacking on non-Mets threads to talk about their favorite team. Most think it is because they need attention (the "little brother" syndrome).

Mets fan discussions often include but are not limited to:

• Senator Al
• Kris and Anna Benson
• The Kazmir Trade
• Pedro Martinez
• KazMat

Aside from thread hijacking, Mets fans on BTF are best known for their epic Game Chatter. The Met Game Chatter has included discussions of Mike Stanton's usage, Tom Glavine's whining, Art Howe's intelligence, Eric Valent and the superbestfriends, Jason Phillips' speed (or lack thereof) and the awesomeness of Jose Reyes, David Wright and Fernando Martinez.

I think it's universally acclaimed that Sam M is the coolest Mets fan, although some of the others are pretty cool, too. He is a regular Met Game Chatter participant.

Some of the other regular Met chatterers: Chris Dial, Rob Base, OFF, Jeremy Heit, Matt, Benji, Billyshears, good_ol_gil, WillieMays Haze, Russlan, Raskolnikov, among others.
