Matthew E is the handle of one Matthew Elmslie.

Immortality is a fleeting thing. Rarely do those of a modest bent, who are prone to speak softly often carry a big stick when they choose to share their thoughts. On one (see post #16) such occassion Matthew E, assured himself of immortality at least in the minds of Orioles fans and Primer members.

Matthew E is also one of the few true lovers of genuine Soul Music here on Baseball Primer.

He's currently writing a novel, in blog form, about a guy who moves to the big city and becomes a superhero's personal assistant. Updated several times a week.

Plus he has reviewed some baseball books for this website one time.
