jwb enjoys a life of quiet dissipation in the south suburbs of Chicago. Born and raised a Red Sox fan (mom needed someone to share the 1967 season with), at various times he has been a fan of convenience of the Senators, the Orioles, the White Sox, the Cubs, and the Denver Zephyrs. So jwb has been pretty happy with the outcomes of seasons recently.

Ah, the 1985 Zephyrs! Eric Davis, Kal Daniels, Tracy Jones, and a few other decent hitters. In Denver, they scored a jillion runs. Unfortunately, the pitching staff was Andy McGaffigan and cannon fodder and they gave up a jillion and a half runs.

jwb tries to keep the signal to noise ratio high and not to woof too much, but sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
