Jack Vincennes

Jack Vincennes is a Cubs fan and bon vivant living in Madison, Wisconsin.

Jack is also, as far as we know, one of two Primates who took their handles from film noir (in his case, from the film L.A. Confidential). The other is Floyd Thursby.

No, Jack does not have a cat (this was originally asked in response to question of notches on Jack's bedposts). He at one time had joint custody of an assclown beagle named "Floyd," unrelated however to the aforementioned Mr. Thursby.

Jack does have superb taste in liquor, being especially conversant in gin, Scotch, and boutique bourbons but with a fondness for excellent beer as well. Jack's signature drink is the "Autumn Leaves Martini", a standard dry martini straight up with a dash of Laphroaig Scotch floating on top.

Jack smokes cigars, listens to real jazz, hunts pheasants, enjoys porn, and has had a succession of girlfriends who encourage his pursuit of the good life while providing enhancement to it.

He also has been known to watch the Green Bay Packers as a casual fan (seemingly impossible to find in the state of Wisconsin).

His true sporting love is baseball. One of his favorite weekday afternoon activities in the summertime is taking off from work on lunch break, stopping by a local downtown cigar store, and spending a long lunch there, smoking a stogie and watching the Cubbies on WGN.

Young Primates could choose a worse role model.
