Harold Reynolds
From Wiki Gonzalez
The best-dressed man on television by a mile and a half, Harold Reynolds co-hosted ESPN's Baseball Tonight, did color for the occasional game, and was omnipresent at broadcasts of amateur baseball, including the Little League World Series and the College World Series. He was a light-hitting infielder during his big-league career with the Seattle Mariners and other teams.
Furthermore, he is from Corvallis, Oregon, the birthplace of Lesser Primate Voxter; at Corvallis High School, he starred in both football and baseball. Lord only knows how a Black man who was not attending Oregon State University ended up in Corvallis, but there you have it.
Reynolds is generally considered much less obnoxious than many other baseball color men, such as Joe Morgan, Tim McCarver, and Steve Lyons.
Reynolds was abruptly fired by ESPN on July 25, 2006. No reason was made public, but rumors of sexual harassment charges immediately began to circle. Reynolds denied those rumors, and filed a lawsuit against ESPN alleging wrongful termination. With a settlement in 2008 that allowed Reynolds to join MLB.com as a commentator, the truth will probably never emerge.
