Good ol gil

good_ol_gil is a Mets fan who feels strange and a bit pathetic writing about himself in the third person, but he felt kinda left out looking at all the other names on the list. He is one of few, if not the only posters on Primer with underscores in his username, a fact he takes a somewhat perverse pride in (even before the days of registration, where you could put in anything you want, he chose to put underscores place of spaces). His real name is not "Gil," and he prefers his user name to be spelled in lower case for some reason. He's been around Primer for a long time, but posts only occasionally because he realizes that everyone is much more intelligent than he is on Clutch Hits and his eseentially useless opinions are not needed nor wanted.

He can currently be found on Mets game chatters posting a Mets player's last name in ALLCAPS with numerous exclamation points if he does something good.
