Flannel shirt

From Wiki Gonzalez

A flannel shirt (also known as "Canadian lingerie") is a shirt made of the material flannel. They were popularized by Rob Neyer when his ESPN.com headshot photograph from 1996 to 2002 showed him wearing a stylish red-and-black flannel shirt.

Members of the Rob Neyer Message Board ("Neyer Boarders") once formed a fantasy baseball league called "The Flannel Shirt Gang" in homage to Rob Neyer's unlikely status of fashion icon.

Flannel shirts are the unofficial menswear of BTF members, and make a wonderful Christmas gift for men or women. (You know you're a sabermetrician when your idea of sexy lingerie for your wife is a flannel shirt.)

Rumor has it that the staff of The Hardball Times (a website founded largely by current and former Primer contributors) at least jokingly considered photoshopping their heads on top of the famous Neyer flannel head shot and putting those pictures up on an "About the Authors" section.

The best way to wear a flannel shirt is under an Indianapolis Clowns jacket with Birkenstocks. Preferably in Portland, Oregon. Rob would want it that way.
