Double-posting
From Wiki Gonzalez
Double-posting is a Primer tradition.
On Old Primer, the "Post Comment" button at the bottom of the page could be clicked more than once, and the server would treat each click as a new post. If the server was responding slowly, the same exact comment could be posted in succession to a discussion thread.
It was reported that some browsers would keep submitting a post even if you only single-clicked the "Post Comment" button, resulting in inadvertent double-posting.
The new BTF server software has guards against double-posting, but in April 2005 slow server responses prompted the reappearance of double-posting, triple-posting, and even quintuple-posting in numerous threads. It appears the guards aren't quite as vigilant in this case.
