Doctor Who
From Wiki Gonzalez
Doctor Who is the Babe Ruth of science fiction TV shows, and very possibly the best TV series ever made - despite its bargain-basement special effects and production values. It was picked as the third greatest TV show of the 20th century by the British Film Institute.
Doctor Who returned with a new series on the BBC March 26, 2005. In January 2006, the SCI FI Channel struck a deal with the BBC to bring all the first-season episodes to the U.S. Starting March of that year, episodes were to be aired every Friday at 9 PM. BBC Video has announced plans for a July 4 American DVD release containing these episodes.
But wait a second! --- some believe that to refer to Doctor Who as "very possibly the best TV series ever made," is, for a lack of a better thing to say, a bald-faced lie. Well, not a lie, exactly, one may admit. More of just a highly erroneous statement.
