Dick Thompson
From Wiki Gonzalez
Dick Thompson posted rarely on Old Primer and BBTF, but always with high signal.
Dick is a SABR member and a historian, with a longer memory and greater knowledge of old-time baseball than most other Primates. When he last visited, he was completing a book on the pitcher Wes Ferrell. His Ferrell book was published by McFarland in 2005.
Dick is currently working on a biography of a Negro Leaguer.
Jon Daly saw him at a SABR meeting the Saturday after Thanksgiving 2004.
Don't say anything negative about Wes or Rick Ferrell to him or else!
