Dave Bell is a rabid Red Sox fan (pre-2004 of course), and one of the brotherhood of Australian Sox fans, along with Phil Coorey.

Phil and Dave have been known to hijack various Game Chatters and the Lounge with talk of Rugby Union. Much to the bemusement of others.
