Dahlian was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and a member of the last graduating class of the University of New Orleans before the city got blown to hell. He has been a fan of the Arizona Diamondbacks since their inception, still having fond memories of the 2001 World Series. Currently he is a bored graduate student in the go-nowhere, do-nothing field of Chinese history. Dahlian is also the former fake, virtual assistant to the one-time future head chef of the Wooster College dining facilities (see Bernal Diaz).

His hobbies include visiting non-English speaking countries, butchering the Chinese and Russian languages, watching the X-Files, making Newsradio references, listening to white rappers, and fantasizing about homoerotic love stories. He also desperately wishes he was living in Pahrump, Nevada.
