Cris E has been writing his name like this since first grade. In third grade, when told he'd need to start writing out his last name (9 letters), he countered by pointing out there was only one Cris in the class. He was then instructed to stay in from recess to practice his name.

Cris is a Twins fan who has spent his life in St Paul and sincerely hopes Joe Mauer's knee holds up.
