Cost

Q. How much does it cost to visit Baseball Think Factory?
A1. Eleventy billion dollars.
A2. Your social life and dignity.
Of course, depriving us of our social life and dignity does cost Jim Furtado a fair amount of money. Someone's got to keep the servers running and the bandwidth flowing. There is no cost to visit or register, but there is a Support BTF Page (http://www.baseballthinkfactory.org/files/about/article/support/) where you can donate money to the cause. Many people don't realize that you can do this, and their eyes just skim past the mention of it on each and every page. But you really should kick in a couple bucks...your lack of social life and dignity are worth it. Baseball Think Factory and baseball-reference.com are no longer connected, so supporting one does nothing to support the other.
And, if you're all 'Retro' and 'Old Style', you can sport some cool Baseball Primer clothing from Cafe Press (http://www.cafepress.com/baseballprimer). If you want new style BTF merchandise, you're out of luck. But at least you can get a Baseball Primer thong, and a couple bucks goes towards keeping the place running. But keep in mind that we're not selling jeans here.
