charlie is a composer who lives in San Diego. He grew up in northern West Virginia, near Pittsburgh, and has been a lifelong Pirates fan despite dozens of attempts to root for the Padres, the A's, the Red Sox, the Indians, the Blue Jays, the Dodgers, the Twins. and other franchises that have any idea what they are doing or are close geographically to any of the places charlie has lived. He eventually gave up and started a Pirates site, Value Over Replacement Blog (http://www.valueoverreplacement.blogspot.com).

charlie writes chamber music and TAs in a grad program in California. He also is involved in improvised music and rock music. He is an author (http://www.dustedmagazine.com/writers/wilmoth) and editor of the music magazine Dusted (http://www.dustedmagazine.com).
