Catorce

From Wiki Gonzalez

"Catorce!" comes from U2's song "Vertigo," where Bono sings "Uno, dos, tres, catorce" (one, two, three, fourteen).

In interviews, Bono has claimed "uno, dos, tres, catorce" is a nod to Steve Lillywhite, who produced U2's first three albums as well as How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, the group's 14th album, which contains "Vertigo." However, most Primates seem to think Bono simply forgot how to count to four--a dubious proposition considering that "cuatro" is a commonly known Spanish word, whereas "catorce" is more likely known by those with some familiarity with the Spanish language.

Whether or not it's a reference to Steve Lillywhite, it's very likely a reference to the fact that it is U2's 14th release. In any case, the word is clearly there as a playful joke, and not as a mistake that no one involved in the production of the album happened to catch.

By convention "Catorce!" is usually the fourth post in a Primer Lounge. Lately, however, "Catorce!" has begun to be used for any number below 20 as a poster's first post in a new Lounge. The Policía Gramática have thus far been unavailable for comment.
