- has a long time parallel if far less intense affinity for the Tigers, going back to some of his earliest baseball memories, in 1968.
- is also a dilettante-ish follower of the D-Rays. Not sure why. Perhaps the cumulative effects of too many of those boilermakers.
- is named after the SF psychedelic band, of course. He digs them for the mid-'60's Stones sound, their affiliation with the Dandy Warhols, and because the band has his initials.
